School Rules
- Every student should endeavour to sustain the high standard of the school.
- Students must be punctual and should reach the school five minutes prior to the first bell.
- All students should assemble for the assembly in absolute silence when the bell rings.
- Students should come to school clean and tidy with neat hair do. Nails Must ba clipped short. Use of mehendi, make up and nail-polish is not permitted.
- School uniform is compulsory on all school days including parent-teacher meetings.
- Students not adhering to the school uniform code may be sent home even during examination.
- Running, playing or shouting in the academic block is not allowed.
- Students should not unnecessarily leave their class at the end of each period.
- While changing classes or going to the playground, lab, library etc. they should move silently and in an orderly manner.
- It is compulsory to bring the Identity Card and School Diary daily. The diary should not be used as a rough note book.
- Students using unfair means in the examination will be given zero in that subject and will be recorded as an act of misconduct.
- Students are not allowed to bring crackers, cell phones, cameras, MP3 players or any other gadgets to school.
- No student will be permitted to leave the school premises during school hours except in case of dire emergency, after a written application by the parents and the consent of the Principal on it.
- Cleanliness should be maintained in the school premises.
- Writing or scribbling on the walls or causing damage to the school property and property of others, will be treated as a misconduct. Any such act shall entail punishment and recovery of the cost, even if done accidentally.
- Students should maintain the decorum of the school in a refined manner.
- Students must address all the members of the staff with due respect and politeness, wherever they meet them.
- On their way to and from school, students must remember that the school is judged by their conduct and they are expected to behave in a courteous manner.
- Students suffering from infectious/contagious diseases shall under no circumstances, be permitted to attend the school until full recovery. They should submit a fitness certificate from the doctor on rejoining.
Rules of Attendance
- Absence from school must be supported by a leave letter from the parent or guardian of the student.
- Absentees at an examination will be given zero, unless it is established that their absence was due to illness.
- Minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory for each Term including medical leaves, falling which they will not be permitted to sit for the term exam.
- If leave is taken on medical grounds for more than three days, a medical certificate form a qualified doctor should be enclosed along with the leave application.
- If a student is absent without permission for more than 10 days, her name will be struck off the rolls. Re-admission shall be only done on payment of re-admission fees and consent of the principal.
Traditions to be Kept Up
- To know the School Motto and the School Song and Emblem and be worthy of it.
- To be always courteous with one another and respectful towards the elders in and out of school.
- To avoid vulgarity in speech and behaviour.
- To accept whatever work is assigned with joy and pride.
- To rise when Principal, teacher or visitor enters or passes through any classroom.
- To be courteous and inculcate a spirit of sportsmanship with officials and with opposing teams during inter school competitions.
- To respect liberty and rights of other pupils.
- To avoid throwing waste paper in the school permission.
- To learn and observe good manners every where.
