St. John’s School for Girls is deeply committed to including a sense of social responsibility in its students. For this we provide holistic education to thegirls and explain to them of their rights and duties so that they emerge as a societal resource with right attitude and strong values. Headmistress Mrs. Arsha Joyce Wilfred, has a distinct vision when it comes to the girls and their duty to the under privileged. She involves her students in social causes in the belief that society will only change when young people take on the onus of social transformation and are pro-active participants in the mechanism of change. She says, “Without compromising on our commitment to pursue the all-round development of our girls, we feel that we need to awaken a social conscience within our girls, so that they are aware of the lot of the huge number of people who as less fortunate than us”.
As a Christian school, the school not only strives for the intellectual, cultural and the physical development for the girls, but also for the development of the character by instilling sound moral principles. St. John’s School is synonymous with quality education and is a pioneer in mooting all-round development and to foster an all-round growth in its students.
Our dream is that the girls educated in our institution will become:
We expect our staff, students and parents to look ahead with us and join us in realizing this vision.
