About the School

St. John's Senior Secondary School For Girls is an English Medium Christian Minority Institution founded in March 2015 with an aim to provide quality education especially for the girl child. The school is recognized up till Class XII with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The school follows the CBSE approved system of education and has fully functional science labs for Classes XI and XII in the Science stream. The academic year extends from April to March of the following year and is divided into terms as per the new CBSE norms. Value based Education forms an integral part of the School Curriculum. The primary aim of the teaching faculty of the school is to make God known and loved; therefore, the spiritual development of all their pupils is of prime concern.

Facilities offered at the school:
• Physical training, games and sports are compulsory activities.
• Students are trained in Karate and self-defense by a capable instructor.
• Symposiums and Activities such as Science and Art exhibitions, debates and cultural programs are held periodically.
• All students are encouraged to actively participate in debates, quizzes, elocution, art and craft competitions, essay-writing etc.
• Other fields in which girls can hone their skills are Social Service, Computers, Environmental Preservation, House Keeping and Music. Girls blessed with musical talents are encouraged to join the school choir.
• Students actively participate in activities organised by the four houses.
